When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 癈. |

background: Originally named because of its sequence similarity to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae NHP2 (non-histone protein 2), this protein appears to be a highly conserved nuclear protein that is a component of the [U4/U6.U5] tri-snRNP. It binds to the 5' stem-loop of U4 snRNA. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] Function: Originally named because of its sequence similarity to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae NHP2 (non histone protein 2), this protein appears to be a highly conserved nuclear protein that is a component of the [U4/U6.U5] tri snRNP. It binds to the 5' stem loop of U4 snRNA. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. Subunit: Component of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP complex composed of the U4, U6 and U5 snRNAs and at least PRPF3, PRPF4, PRPF6, PRPF8, PRPF31, SNRNP200, TXNL4A, WDR57, SNRNP40, DDX23, CD2BP2, PPIH, NHP2L1, EFTUD2, SART1 and USP39. Interacts with RAD17 and PRPF31. Subcellular Location: Nucleus ?nucleolus. Note: Concentrated in the dense fibrillar component of the nucleolus. Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitous. Similarity: Belongs to the ribosomal protein L7Ae family.
